Deb Hensley is a vocalist, songwriter and community song leader offering workshops for adults and educators. Deb is the Program Director for the Belfast Creative Coalition, and an educational consultant for the High Scope Educational Research Foundation and the Restorative Justice Project of the Midcoast. Deb lives in Freedom, Maine. and holds a Masters degree in Transformative Language Arts.
She has enjoyed participating and innovating in a variety of creative musical projects and ensembles including the Matthews and McCune duo, Improvox, Brio, and Little Debbie and the Snack Cakes (alas that really was the name of the band...). Besides singing she loves to write, paint, hike, read, birdwarch sailing, flying and play outside in the Maine woods where she lives with husband Jonathan and their cat Beautiful.
